This study analyzes evolving technologies for percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and whether changing referral patterns adversely impact the volumes, risk profiles and outcomes of patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (CABG).

Goals of Early Extubation Workshop

Demonstrate that early extubation is:

• Safe and patient-centered
• Feasible with appropriate protocols and teamwork
• Directed at throughput of patients with decreased LOS which will decrease cost
• Can happen in patients that have increased risk of prolonged intubation
